One of the most important reasons that vaping is now so popular is that it is significantly less harmful to your health than smoking. The carcinogens produced by burning and inhaling tobacco are incredibly damaging to the lungs and heart, causing the destruction of the metabolic processes of the cells in the human body.

While by no means entirely safe, a recent found that vaping and e-cigarettes have ‘much less carcinogenic potency’ than the smoke from tobacco. Another recent study looking at vaping vs smoking, funded by Cancer Research, showed that the carcinogen levels of tobacco smokers who switched to vaping had dropped considerably.

Economic Reasons

Another compelling reason for people choosing vaping over smoking is the fact that vaping can work out to be significantly cheaper. Although a vaping kit and e-liquids will require a significant initial outlay, the costs are likely to be less when spread over time when compared to a tobacco smoking habit of roughly the same regularity and intensity. And with tobacco prices rising considerably year on year over the past decade or so, this makes vaping and e-cigarettes seem like an attractive and viable alternative.

Vaping, on the other hand, can be enjoyed in a plethora of readily-available flavors such as coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, blueberry, strawberry and so on! This added feature of e-liquids makes for increased novelty and increased enjoyment of vaping as a practice, and can add an extremely enjoyable social aspect to the pastime as well.

And compared to the mod device, the pod vaping seems healthier to our lungs and easy-to-use. So what is pod vaping?

Pod vapes are lightweight,compact-looking devices. It has two components: a battery, and the E-liquid pod. They are similar to e-cigarettes, but easier to use and with a longer durability. Pod vaping is ideal for smokers making the switch to vaping, and even to quitting smoking. Pod system can simply use a battery device and just buy E-liquid pods with the flavors you like, and then just puff and enjoy.

Pros of Pod Vaping

• Inexpensive: both refillable and pre-filled pod system are usually not expensive, though the priced vary on the brand.
• Easy to use: All you need to do is buy a battery and pod system, which usually comes with everything you need, pop on the pod and start vaping!
• Discreet, and ultra-portable: Pod devices are usually compact and ultra-portable. Which makes them easy to carry around and to travel with. You won’t need to lug around your mod and e-juices.

Cons of Pod Vaping

• Limited selection of E-juice flavors: Pod vape manufacturers typically have a limited selection of pod flavors. For example, Juul only has mango, cool mint, tobacco, fruit medley, and creme brulee.
• Vapor volume: Some vapers still love to blow big clouds, and do vape tricks. Well, with pod vaping that is limited, as the cloud production is minimal. But thing is changing. It’s a breakthrough for vaping. The new Feelm heating coil from Smoore is the latest development in heating technology from one the most successful companies in the vapor industry. Designed for primarily pre-filled pod systems, the Feelm atomizer uses no cotton or wicking material and has a large surface area that comes in contact with the e-liquid.

The Feelm atomizer uses a ceramic base that has a flat, medical-grade stainless steel metal film material on top of it, according to Sofia Luo, marketing director for Feelm. “The circuit is on the top and it works very well especially with prefilled pods because of the increased surface area, which allows for a better vaping experience,” says Luo.

Being sure the Feelm technology minimized the possibility for tank leakage was a major concern for the company, according to Luo. “Closed pod leakage is very hard to fix, harder than even fixing leaks on an open tank. You need the pod connection to be right with the battery and still get the vapor from on top,” she says. “This is very complicated to fix.” The Feelm atomizer can also significantly reduce any potentially harmful substances in vapor.

The larger coil surface area of the Feelm atomizer provides a better vape than closed pods that use a wicking material, according to a survey of 500 testers, customers and distributors conducted by Smoore. Luo says when comparing the wick to Feelm, it’s a very different vape. “Feelm is much smoother. When you inhale, many people say it is more similar to a cigarette. It’s the amount of vapor and how it feels when vaping it,” she says, adding that tobacco users are going to switch to products that satisfy. “Other devices don’t really provide this sensation. The inhale experience with Feelm is much drier than the wet feeling you get from wick coils. Feelm is trying to create the best products to satisfy smokers and Feelm’s smoother throat hit – that’s always there – is more like the cigarette experience.”

Feelm is also a very efficient coil. Luo says it uses up to 20 percent less battery life, which can be a huge benefit to closed-pod systems that keep getting smaller and smaller. Unfortunately, the company is only focusing on using the Feelm technology in prefilled pod systems, according to Luo. “It works really well in a closed pod system. We may change and add additional devices and open systems in the future but we really think this is the absolute best coil currently on the market for all types of prefilled pod systems.”
